What are the issues?

• A stakeholders workshop was held on 12/10/2016 to share and discuss our list of issues with other key stakeholders/groups.

  • About 42 people attended.

  • Groups represented included: County Commissioners, County Staff, IPC, RUPA, GEC, JWSC, GIFT and C4SSI/SI.

  • A consensus list of issues was produced.
     

• A town-hall meeting was held on 1/12/2017.

  • More than 100 people attended.

  • The results of the stakeholders workshop were shared with the community.

  • Input from all attendees about their view of important issues was solicited.

  • The “final” list of issues, shown on the Issues tab, was produced.

 

Establish our objectives (what “good” looks like)

• A stakeholders workshop was held on 1/28/2017 to define “what good looks like” for each issue.

  • Groups represented included the Chamber of Commerce and Board of Realtors in addition to those represented at the first Workshop.

  • A consensus of what “good” looks like for each of the issues was produced.

• A town-hall meeting will be conducted on 2/22/2017 to produce a “final” list of“ what good looks like” for each issue.

 

Create/brainstorm alternative solutions

• Conduct a stakeholders workshop in March to discuss alternative solutions and agree on the “best” solution to the problems

• Share the results of this workshop with the community at a town hall meeting in March/April.

 

Analyze the alternatives and select the best approach

 

Recommend solutions, including short and long term plans

 

Evaluate progress    

• Work to implement that “best” solution.
